The Bassetlaw Community Car Sheme provides a community transport service serving the residents of Bassetlaw who are unable to access public transport. The scheme uses volunteer drivers who drive their own cars.
A charge is made for journeys and clients must be registered on the scheme in order to travel
Registration is currently free.
Once registered clients should give at least 3 or 4 days notice of a required journey.
Office opening hours are Monday to Friday 9.00am To 12.30pm.
Volunteer drivers are needed throughout the whole of Bassetlaw.

Nacro has 10 bedspaces in shared houses in Worksop, for males and females aged 18-65. referals are accepted either direct or through an agecy. Waiting list is in operation though this is on a needs led basis. Each service user has an individual tailored support package and needs to be willing to meet with project staff on a regular basis.
